Papa John’s is a chain that tried to top the Pizza Hut and Domino’s of the world with higher-quality ingredients, and a more Italian-feel as opposed to a more generic, chain push. I personally like their pizza a lot, but for some reason and finding myself ordering from Domino’s instead. Some recent news, that may sway my decision is Papa John’s decision to offer whole wheat pizza for online delivery, which is a great move for health minded pizza lovers like myself.

Now this is a great company, the New York Flying Pizza company will deliver you a New York pizza pie anywhere in the US. They cook the pizzas in New York and then express ship them to anyone in the contiguous United States. The pizzas are cooked specially-made to be shipped long distances. The actual delivery process consists of the pizzas being partially cooked, frozen, then packaged heavily before being shipped out. They only ship on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and ship as quickly as next-day and up to 3 day delivery, based on the shipping location. When the pizza arrives, they’re ready to be inserted into the oven and eaten. Costs begin at $54 for the barbeque pizza, including delivery.

Along the same lines as the Flying New York Pizza company, the Giordano pizza delivery company ships pizzas, but from Chicago instead of New York. Chicago of course is famous for their deep-dish pizza, while New York does their thin-crust Italian style pizza. Giordano goes through the same shipping process, with partially baking and freezing the pieces to be popped right into the oven. The pizzas are a lot cheaper, as opposed to being $52, the pizzas at Giordano start at $17.
